Gorgeous❤️ this dessert is super fresh and surprisingly delicious 😜 Beets lovers will love it, but actually not just them 🙂
It is sweet, fresh and full of vitamins and fiber!
Products
for 2 servings
1 roasted beetroot (mine was 150 g)
100 g apple (measured peeled and cleaned)
40 g honey
250 g strained yogurt
walnuts (optional, not calculated)
cinnamon
Preparation
Wash the beetroot, dry it and without peeling it, wrap it in a sheet of baking paper. Bake it at 180 degrees for about 45-50 minutes. Baked this way, it will retain it’s juices and it can be used in all kinds of salads and quick appetizers. You can bake this in a larger amount, store it in the refrigerator for 2-3 days and add it to dishes.
After the beetroot is baked, peel it and blend it along with the apple. You will obtain smooth porridge. Sweeten it with 20 g honey (1/2 of the amount). Add the remaining honey to the strained yogurt. Pour into cups/bowls, layering strained yogurt and beetroot and apple puree over it 🙂
In the end you will obtain a uniquely colorful and delicious dessert 🙂
You can decorate with berries, cocoa/chocolate or walnuts 🙂 Mmmmmm!
