Gorgeous! π
This recipe is so simple, easy and fast, but so tasty!ππThe best thing is that children will love it, because it looks like French fries, but it’s actually not. πIf you add celery root which looks so much like potatoes when it’s baked, you will add even more health benefits to this fake “French fries” portion!
I used in the recipe fenugreek, which is may be my most favorite spice. It is a source of ascorbic acid, fiber, vitamin A, B, D and minerals like potassium and others.
The regular fenugreek consumption may increase testosterone and libido in men, and also reduces appetite. Sounds like you hit the jackpot. ππ
Products
300 g potatoes (measured raw and peeled)
200 g pumpkin (measured raw and peeled)
1 tbsp. olive oil
salt, fenugreek
Optionally: carrots, celery, parsnips
Method
Turn the oven to 200 degrees and while it heats up, cut the potatoes and the pumpkin into sticks. You can add more vegetables such as: carrots, celery, parsnips. First cut the vegetables into slices and then into sticks, approximately the same size, so they can bake evenly. Sprinkle with salt, fenugreek and 1 tbsp. olive oil. Bake in a tray lined with baking paper, top and bottom heat. Make sure the tray is large enough so there is room for all the vegetables. Bake for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
