PEANUT BUTTER WAFFLES

0

Hey, Gorgeous!

As I promised you the first of the waffle’s series recipe! They are flour free, dairy free and gluten free. But at the same time they are insanely tasty!!!
Below I have given you options how you can modify the recipe if you do not like peanut butter.
And this will not be the last recipe from the waffle series. There will be some more!

Products:
2 eggs
150 g peanut butter (or tahini of your choice)
20 g maple syrup
1 tsp. baking powder
80 ml / g water

Method

Whisk the eggs until frothy. Add the rest of the products to them and again whisk the mixture until it gets homogeneous. A thick and aromatic mixture for waffles is obtained. Peanut butter can be replaced with tahini of your choice (sesame, sunflower, hazelnut or other). Read the label for no added sugar. The waffles are baked for about 5-6 minutes, depending on the power of the appliance (for mine it takes about 6 minutes). They become very fluffy, pleasantly brown and they smell fantastic. You can eat them like this or add a fruit, peanut butter or maple syrup / honey.

An option for those who prefer the salty taste, the waffles can be prepared with the same / similar products. For example, you can make them with sesame tahini, salt and spices (skipping the maple syrup) and eat them with scrambled eggs and vegetables. Mmmm! 😊
