Lower Body Workout with Stress on Inner Thighs and Saddlebags

I promised split workouts and here it is a lower body workout with exercises for inner thigh muscles and muscles under saddlebags. I want to mention something so you are not mislead: Working out for trouble zones doesn’t burn fat there. It works out muscles there but not fat. You can’t tone fat but more about this under the video.

Exercises in this workout

After every exercise do Frog Jumps 🙂 – 20

1. Bulgarian split squat jump LEFT leg – 10
2. Single leg hip thrust LEFT – 10
3. Bulgarian split squat jump RIGHT leg – 10
4. Single leg hip thrust RIGHT – 10
5. From side plank – side leg lift LEFT leg – 10
6. From side plank – side leg lift RIGHT leg – 10
7. Single leg jump other leg raise front-side LEFT – 10
8. Single leg jump other leg raise front-side RIGHT – 10

Inner thighs fat and saddlebags
Every day I get emails about exercises for certain trouble zone. How to reduce tummy, how to reduce thighs, how to burn buttocks fat etc. Losing fat doesn’t work this way. You can’t eat all you want and then burn it with exercise. It doesn’t happen this way.

To reduce thigh fat you must eat less calories/energy than you spend and after that your body starts to burn fat. BUT you can’t control where to burn fat from. This is your body’s decision. Depending on you hormones, gender, age etc, your body decides to burn fat from certain spot. You don’t have control over this process. Stop worrying for things you can’t control and focus on things you can!

You can control the quality and quantity of food. You can control your workouts. So focus on food and working out.

If you create calorie deficit your body will start to burn fat. And fingers crossed it will burn from trouble zones too.

Exercises for inner thighs workout inner thighs muscles but don’t burn inner thigh fat.

Exercises for saddlebags work out muscles, but don’t burn fat.

Question: do you want to spot fat? Do you have experience with spot reduction? What are your thoughts about this?

    Before I started working out regularly I saw some of my body parts as a “problem”. I guess we all want to look sexy and close to that “perfect” image of our selves. The greatest benefit of losing weight (I mean emotional as well) is gaining self-confidence. I learned that improving my posture makes my belly look completely flat and working on my shoulders made them bigger, so my waist looks smaller. What I am trying to say is, by eating food that makes you feel energized and not stuffed and by moving all parts of your body you’ll feel much happier and healthier. When you are happy and healthy “problem” areas disappear and you start to love your body for what it can do, not for the way it looks 🙂 I am very happy that Rumi always points out that being happy and healthy is the main purpose. It is so much more motivating and realistic than just focusing on a body part or a number on the scale.

      Katerina, sometimes I feel we are twin thoughts 😀 Yes, good posture draws belly in and bigger shoulders make waist line looks smaller. But the main purpose of life is to live it happy and with constant development and passing challenges!

    My name is Rachel and I am Brazilian. I found your videos on youtube and I really enjoyed today started practicing some of your workouts … What I liked is that most do not need any equipment and can be done in your living room. My problem is sedentary and localized fat in the legs and hips, I’m 31 years old and 59 pounds, I get around 55 kilos, weight which I think is nice to me and my clothes fit me loosely lol. Another problem is power, here in Brazil we eat too much sugar, white wheat and greases …. Dieting is hard, but I always have and I think now I will pick up the pace of your workouts. Then I’ll tell you how it went, ok? Big hug!
