When it comes to the first meal of the day, I love brunch ๐ I am not a big fan of breakfast, I tried it and I didn’t feel good afterwards, but having breakfast first thing in the morning may be the right thing for you โ grab some ideas from my meals but not the timing ๐
What I learned is that timing doesn’t matter; you can eat whenever you want. What counts is quality and quantity of the food. I try to eat as simple as I can, and my rule is to choose from foods that have existed even 500 years ago. If a type of food didn’t exist long time ago, it is a product of nutrition industry and it is not good for the way I feel and look.
I wanted eggs (surprise ๐ ), scrambled and I poured the hot eggs over grated cheese, then stirred and it became so stretchable (I like having stretching even in my eggs), yummyyyyy ๐
Vegetables: tomato, cucumber, Iceberg โ no salt, balsamic or olive oil, today was clean veggies day.
Finished with last night left overs – roasted pumpkin, I wanted more dessert and had some grapes.
Question of the day
What is your favorite way to prepare pumpkin?
Rumi: I love roasted pumpkin the most, sometimes I add cinnamon. And I love all pumpkin desserts.
I love breakfast. It’s my favorite meal of the day!! I enjoy brunches too when I am on vacation or just on weekends!!!
I love pumkins too!!! how do you make them roasted? how long in the oven?
I like to make a cream with pumpkin, sweet potatoes and carrots and some red onions!!! it’s awesome.
I like another simple recipe, pumpkin chopped in little square, with very little water with onions and nutmeg. Just delicious…
have a lovely week Rumi!!!
Romy, (your name is so close to mine, it seems I am talking to my self ๐ ) What yummy ideas, I defenitely will try them! I roast pumpkin in the oven for 1 hour on max possible temperature. It is very lazy treat, but you must have time to roast it. Usially while working I roast pumpkin or zucchini which also need 1 hour to roast. Have lovely week Romy ๐
Thank You for the new website! I have my working out down but I really need to get a grip on my food intake! I hope I can get some of your positive eating habits.
Vanessa, you are welcome, I am happy to share ๐
I love your website, so many great ideas, I am a mother of 2 and grandmother of 3, I am 53 years old, I have been struggling badly the last 2 years with my weight, I used to work as house keeper in a hotel, so lots of walking, weight then was 130,since i left that to clean homes, my weight has gone up dramatically, 160. I suppose getting older makes it much harder, I still do walking but maybe not enough , my down fall too is snacking at night, usually a handful of grapes, or a few almonds, I eat pretty “clean” no junk food, i was working out with your dvd’s every day then my husband injured his ankle and has been home the last almost 3 months, I have to get back to my dvd morning routine workout,
thanks muchly for all your hard work and dedication
