400 g carrots
15 g coconut butter (can be replaced with 20 g tahini/seeds for sprinkling)
lemon
ginger (optional)
100 g wholemeal bread
Method
Peel and grate carrots for faster boiling. Once they are well softened, drain the water, add coconut oil and spices. If you choose to add tahini, lemon juice will go very well. If you choose to make the pâté with coconut butter, you can add nutmeg, ginger powder or leave it natural. The taste is so pleasant, slightly sweet and it has a mild coconut aroma 🙂 Spread the ready mixture on slices of toasted wholemeal bread and serve with with fresh salad.
