This is an exercise combo that really burns abs but not only! This workout is a part from 90 day exercise challenge. There is an easier verssion of this same workout.
The goal is to complete as many reps as possible, with a good form, for 5 minutes
Exercises in the combo:
1. Plank over dumbbelss
2. Renegade row, both arms
3. Step to the right to plank (next rep step to the left)
4. Push up
5. Plank on elbows
6. Hips to the left, hips to the right, hips up
7. Plank on elbows
8. Go back to 1.
First 2 minutes it didn’t look so hard, but than … At the end abs are burning.
I am surprised but the max reps combinations are definitely my favorite so far 🙂 It really makes me push harder, knowing that I have only 5 minutes. I used 4 kg dumbbells and managed to do 12 reps of this combo during the 5 minutes. I still completed 15 though. After this I did the 10 minute part again (like you suggested) and then 20 more reps of this lovely combo 🙂 I didn’t time myself because I was going for good form. I am truing to improve my push-up and go lower on my way down so I am not as fast but I feel stronger this way. Right now my goal is to feel strong and energized because I have just moved in with my husband and I need a lot of energy to adjust to my new home and way of life 🙂

Just completed this series of short workouts, thank you! I’ll definitely do more of these as add-ons to longer workouts. The abs section flowed really well and was definitely the hardest, especially second time round! I also wondered if you’d ever consider doing some kettlebell workouts? I love these for a combination of full body strength/cardio training.
I love kettlebells too. I try to film with less equipment but I will do kettlebell workout 🙂 Thank you for your feedback!
